Our Ministries

Our ministries are an important and integral part of our church community. Whether you are a student, single or married there is a ministry designed for you. Please read about our ministries and consider becoming an active member of our community of faith.
Faith Journey

Faith Journey meets Tuesdays at 6:00 PM. We gather each week to explore our faith. We seek understanding, guidance, and tranformation through the ancient sciptures, fellowship, and prayer. We are currently studying Lent.

During this time, our K-4th grade "Wild for God" group meets, with nursery available. The kids will be starting a new curriculum to learn more about who God is this summer.




Angel Food

Angel Food is a feeding ministry of Hope Bridge. Food is distributed on a monthly basis to those in need and others who need a break on their food bill.

Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States. The program began in 1994 with 34 families in Monroe, Georgia (between Atlanta and Athens), and has grown to serve hundreds of thousands of families every month across 35 states. Angel Food Ministries crosses denominational lines and has spread the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ through salvation tracts that are placed in each food order.

Prayer Chain

A very important part of Christian ministry is prayer. Our church wants to connect you to other Christians who will pray for you. If you need prayer please e-mail us at prayerchain@hopebridge.org and we will offer up to God your request.


Little League

Baseball season has begun! A part of the West End Community, Hope Bridge Church sponsors a little league team. This is a great time for our church family to meet our neighbors and fellowship together in a fun and exciting atmosphere. Let's get ready to support our team!


Nursery

Infant through three years old. You have confidence that your little one will be nurtured by our committed ministry workers. You will be pleased to know that most of our nursery workers are professional day care providers.




Kid's Church

Pre-K (or age 4 years) through 4th grade. A great time of fun filled faith for your kids while you worship with the adults.

Preteen Group

Join our newest Sunday group of young people, grade 5 through grade 7. This group uses cool games as a way to study some of the most exciting Bible stories. Contact Angie Butler for more details.

E.P.I.C. W.I.N. Youth Group

Grades 8th through 12th. This is an opportunity for the youth of our community to come together to hangout, hear about Jesus, and have a good time. The youth group meets weekly after the Saturday worship gathering. If you are a youth of this community and you are looking for something to fill your soul, our doors are open.








Pastoral Counseling

At times we all struggle with difficult emotions and situations. Talking with someone about them is a sign of strength, not weakness. If you need to talk, Call for an appointment @ 301-791-9003 or e-mail at hopebridge@myactv.net








Family Center Support

The Family Center is a social service agency that is located in our building. They serve the greater Washington Co. area through counseling, education and support of families and pregnant teens. We hope to assist them though volunteer service, donations and prayer.


Reach/Faith in Action

We support the efforts of the Reach cold weather shelter for the homeless and Faith in Action a broad faith based care and service program.








Ark ALMIGHTY

Sharing our skills and knowledge with others is a wonderful ministry. Our church is connected with an online ministry sight that pulls together individual resources and creates a data base. When someone needs your talent they can call you for advise or one-on-one help.Click Here To Visit
